Aaron Thomas Nelson (born March 10, 1973 in Walnut Creek, California) is an American writer of comic books, poetry, and essays. As of 2005, he lives near Livermore, California, USA.

The comic book character Joe Doogan: Zombie Hunter (which Nelson co-created with noted artist Dario Carrasco) appeared in the comic book anthology Digital Webbing Presents #27 and Digital Webbing Presents #28. A 4-issue series is slated to be published through Arcana Studio.

Aaron Nelson is also an Editor-in-Chief of the Arcana Studio Horror Anthology "Dark Horrors" where he also contributed the short comic "The In-Between Space." He also contributed the Epilogue to David Hopkins comic book version of "Antigone" published through Silent Devil.
