Abhinav Shukla ( ) (born July 28, 1979 in
Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India) is a young and extremely talented
poet who has been participating in national level Kavi Sammelans
(कवि सम्मेलन) from a young age and has made a name for himself as
an intelligent and melodious Hasya Kavi (हास्य कवि). He is mostly
known for his humourous poems in traditional 'ghanakshari chhand'
(घनाक्षरी छन्द) style and thoughtful poems on latest national and
international issues.
Life== Abhinav has been a regular
columnist (Satire) for a
Bengaluru based,
hindi daily 'Dakshin Dhwaj' (दक्षिण धव्ज) and his poems and
articles have published in major newspapers, journals and magazines
across the globe. He has also appeared on several television and
radio shows in India & abroad. Abhinav has appeared in a series
of Kavi Samelans held in forteen major cities in Eastern and
Central US, in 2005.
Abhinav Shukla earned his Bachelor's
degree in Electrical Engineering from IET, Rohilkhand University,
Bareilly. He did his
Masters in Software Systems from BITS_Pilani. He works as a software engineer in
one of the reputed Indian multinational firm.
