His parents Dr. Shime Toiber and Ana Chernovetzky met
in Mexico and where grandsons of
Eastern Europe Immigrant
Jews who saved their lifes escaping from
Hitler, the
Nazi,
World War II, and
Holocaust.
From 1977 to 1985 the young Abie
moved from city to city with his parents trying to find better
oportunities, all this travell, adaptations and global cultural
impact influenced him and his music. Some of the cities are:
Indianapolis
Indiana, in
Israel:
Rishon Letzion and
Rehovot,
Tel aviv,
Jerusalem. The Toiber family now with a new
baby brother: Jordi returned to
Mexico D.F. in 1985 to witness the Mexico
Earthquake and to attended a school named
Nuevo
Colegio Israelita (
a shame of educational experience in his
own words). At the age of 18 Abie Toiber moved To
Hollywood,
California and
attended the GIT at the
Musicians Institute, where he met other
musicians and formed the band Coma, who later got signed to
EMI and released the album
Antes que existiera el tiempo touring all over
Mexico in cities like:

Tijuana,
Ensenada,

In
1996 Coma disintegrated and Abie Toiber studied a bachellor degree
in Advertising at
Universidad de la
Comunicacion, while working for advertising agencies, and
production companies doing jobs as a jingle producer, marketing,
advertising campaigns, media planning, creative and more.
In
2000 became the guitar player for Morbo (Juan Carlos Lozano from
Moenia) and during this
period he met his actual wife
T.V. host and producer
Karina Velasco daughter of legendary
T.V. personality
Raul Velasco.
During 2004
Abie Toiber started his TOCA75 studio/label concept an in 2005
produced/released his first solo album titled
Lotus. In 2005 moved to
Vancouver B.C. Canada
and produced
Relativity inspired by
Albert Einstein,

Theory,
Science and
travelling to cities like:

Abie Toiber´s music is
influenced by the sounds, History and the mystic side of our
Human Nature.
Both albums where mixed by
Mark Plati (
David Bowie,
The Cure,
Robbie Williams ) in
New York City at Looking
Glass studios (
Philip Glass studio), Alices Restaurant;
mastered by Emily Lazar at the Lodge. The art of the album was
designed by mexican/canadian artist Sergio Toporek. Abie Toiber has
also composed music and done projects for companies and
organizations such as: FAI save the Children, IMAX Papalote Museo
del Niño, Televisa, Del Valle, Banamex, DHL, LATV networks,
PayPerView reality shows, independent short films, remixes for
latin pop artist for labels such as Universal, Sony, and even a
Trance track with David
Durst a.k.a. D TEK featured in the Mexican Trance compilation of
the Label AP from
Berlin,
Germany. Abie Toiber now
lives in
Los
Angeles,
California where he is currently producing
projects in english and spanish for
T.V. Film, and
artists in his TOCA75 studio. Abie Toiber music is available on
