Abraham "Abram" Zabriskie (February 18, 1841-May 24, 1864) was born in Jersey City, New Jersey was a Civil War officer of the Union Army, who served as colonel of the 9th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry. Abram fought in the Peninsula Campaign and the Overland Campaign, and died near Chesapeake, Virginia in the U.S. Army Hospital Fortress Monroe in Northampton County, Virginia during the Battle of Drury's Bluff. His father, Abraham O. Zabriskie was a former United States Senator of New Jersey.
