History of the Company<br />

In 28 July 2003 Abroad Trekkers became a new travel company in Cusco, Peru. Abroad Trekkers are a young and dynamic team who share the same interests as those who like to travel. For them it was easy; they just applied what was best for them when they were traveling and adapted those factors into their own business.<br />

As a result they are a company that specialize in Adventure and Cultural Trekking and tours, in and around Cusco, Peru.<br />

Social Help in Communities<br />

Abroad Trekkers are also doing as much as they can to help the local communities like many others travel agencies, Cusco Peru. Abroad Trekkers is one of them donating annually a portion of their profits into a foundation NGO supporting Schools in and around Cusco. They like to strongly support that the teenagers of these native communities finish their education so that they can upgrade socially.<br />

Project in Society<br />

As most will know Peru is a country located in Latin America, or more formally known as South America. Peru is a country that has great macro-economic figures such as GNP, GDP, Balance of Payments, etc. <ref name=test>[1926], Estadistic.</ref><br />

On the other hand however these figures have a big difference with reality.<br />

Sectors such as health, in particular the educational sector figures, show critical situations such as dropouts, low number of educational hours, and students under average performance.<br />

For those who complete Primary and Secondary School with low achievement is a major problem since it affects almost every child, especially more so to the poorer students.<br />

Abroad Trekkers are motivating people to invest and give contribution to reverse this situation. Nothing can be done to fix the problem immediately but every little bit of help does count.<br />
