There are many people who call themselves Academic Developer Evangelist, and this is a new term to me and many others.
Ideally they seem to be good speakers on certain topics.
Can someone please detail more regarding this post?

<p>An Academic Developer Evangelist (ADE) is a person who acts as a bridge between an IT organization and an academic institution or such organizations that are involved in imparting technology related education.
ADEs are expected to have a passion for technology, love working with students and faculty, with a flair for marketing and speaking to an interested audience.</p>
