Achau is a town in the district of Mödling in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. After the Anschluss in 1938, Achau became a part of the greater Vienna, but returned back to Lower Austria after the war. The Achau golf course is one of the few in the area serving the local Mödling population. As of 2006, there were 1,200 people living in Achau.

Achau is off the side of the Chiloé Island. A small quaint town situated along the sea.
A bus from Castro goes there.
The wooden chapel in the center of town. Especially large for being made of only wood.
To the side of the church in the center of town there are vendors of hand woven crafts that sell for very cheap!
Eat out, it's very cheap.
There are a few hostels that are very economical.
Early in the morning there is a bus that leaves from the bus station to leave.
