Acknowledgement window size is a small, variable number of bit that count the length of each acknowledgement segment in response to one full burst of wireless connection packets received from a sending entity per connection.
An acknowledgement segment includes a set of parameters and values that store an acknowledgement for a block of data, such as a video stream or a data block of a file, that has been successfully received.
It is used more frequently in the terms of wireless network traffic such as those based on 802.11, 802.16 and others.
