Acolyte is the debut album by the English band Delphic. It was recorded mostly in Ewan Pearson's Berlin studio[1].

It was announced on Delphic's website on 2 November 2009 that their debut album will be called Acolyte and released on Polydor on 11 January 2010. Reviewing for BBC Music, writer Lou Thomas commented that it "might just be the first great album of 2010". On 4 November 2009, the tracklisting for Acolyte was also revealed on their website.

Singles

  • "Doubt" was confirmed as the 3rd single from the band, and as such as received decent amounts of coverage on the UK Radio stations throughout December 2009 and January 2010.
  • "This Momentary" became iTunes's "Single of the Week". The song was made available to download for free from the 11th January to 17th January 2010.
  • "Halcyon is the 4th single from the album, to be released on the 15th March 2010. The song is receiving increasing airplay (It currently sits on BBC Radio 1's B-List) and is hoped to chart higher than its predecessor."
