Act Now - Take it
personally offers its readers, an independent and precise view
of the active, participatory and ecological life of the country,
supporting people's active engagement in creating a sustainable
world.
A monotonous routine we all follow every morning. A cup
of coffee with casual flips of the newspaper. Then we get on with
our work, Chronicles of daily events in life just pass by us. The
urge to respond to an issue in the media hardly crosses our mind.
At times we ask WHY?, And question ourselves, 'what can I
do'.
Our Team attempts to dig down deep in a quest to understand
the WHY and highlight those who have answered the question of 'what
can I do?'.. people who are creating the needed changes in their
homes, communities and work places. This work is barely visible in
the media and the prevailing political discourse – yet holds the
promise of transforming the foundations of our world.
We chalk
out different approaches on how one can channelise and answer the
question of what i can do. Spotlighting the creative work occurring
in our city. and around the world, and encourage everyone, young
and old, and from all communities, to be part of a powerful process
of change.
ActNow invites readers to be part of a global
community of change makers.
Each issue focuses on a theme,
showing the possibilities and practical steps that can lead us all
to a more positive future. In each issue you also find book
reviews, practical advice for living more sustainably, the page
that counts, special features, columns, and short
"indicators."
