Ad-Up is a
Marina del Rey, CA-based
online advertising company started in late 1995, becoming one of the first banner networks, with its own proprietary [AdServer].
Growing quickly, Ad-Up incorporated in California in 1996, survived the Internet bubble of 2001 and is still operating today.
Ad-Up's original business model connected those wanting to host advertisements on websites with advertisers who are willing to pay out fees based on a variety of different plans and methods.
This business model was very successful in the late

Internet business boom, yet despite many similar businesses going bust in 2001, Ad-Up survived this period by evovling into a complete web strategy solutions provider, keeping it's overhead low, and focusing on delivering real results for key clients and web properties such as
Petronas,
MSN,
XyBase,
Yahoo,
XO, and [Google]].
Since 1997, Ad-Up has acquired a number of smaller companies, including the
Palo Alto Area-based
MetaWebCritics,
Rainbow Media Solutions, and Any-Ad Corporation.
Other companies that were acquired by Ad-Up include
UpBeat News Group, Q Resources, Multi-Analytic Systems, and NWB Software, Inc.
