Adam Dreamhealer (real name "Adam McLeod") (born 1986) is a Canadian citizen who has gained attention for his claims of being a "distant energy healer," who uses self-induced trances to visualize the aura of the patient into a three dimensional "quantum holograph". He emphasizes the mind healing the body (through $150 over-the-internet sessions).

He has specifically stated that he gained his knowledge through a telepathic connection with a large black bird. He claims the black bird was located at Nootka Sound, which he visited because a dream told him to do so.

Adam's work is endorsed by former astronaut and paranormal enthusiast Dr. Edgar Mitchell. (Neimark, p 46) Dr. Mitchell became a believer in Adam's work after claiming to have been "distance healed" of kidney cancer (although no biopsy was ever done, so the cancer may have never been there at all). He is also reportedly endorsed by singer Ronnie Hawkins <ref name="World Qigong Congress"> World Qigong Congress</ref> and by the World Qigong Congress. <ref name="World Qigong Congress"/>

Although Adam's views are based largely on supposition and pseudoscience, he has created enough of a following to generate an estimated $1.2 million yearly income.

Adam McLeod and his parents hired a lawyer to silence Dr. Terry Polevoy <ref name="Lawsuit threatened"> Lawsuit threatened</ref> and threatened his ISP because of comments about their operations. Their lawyer claimed that Polevoy posted an unauthorized photo of McLeod on his web site, and that people who were looking for Adam on the internet were "diverted" to HealthWatcher.net. He also claimed that nobody could use the name Dreamhealer on the internet without acknowledging the Trademark. The Vancouver lawyer never made a case in court.
