Adam Engel, in the past, has been a writer for
Dissident
Voice, a radical internet newsletter. He is presently a poetry
writer for
CounterPunch which is a policital newsletter.
Engel has been the author of an many articles including "Jew
and Me",
"Enough is Too much", "Black is Indeed Beautiful,
An
Interview with Ernest Crichlow" and many more.
In the article
written in November 2003 and titled "Jew and Me", Adam Engel
writes, "Well, it's one thing to detest the Zionists for the
Nazi-like racists that they are. It's even plausible to hate the
Jews in general, at least those living in America, for not doing
everything in their power to stop the Israeli War Machine. If I
were a Palestinian, I would not distinguish between an IDF soldier
and the "Israel Uber Alles" American Jew who supports him morally
and financially. If I were a Palestinian I would indeed be an
"anti-Semite." "
Having discovered that prose can be and nearly
always is mis-quoted and
mis-used, Engel turned exclusively to
poetry, which he has publish
weekly in CounterPunch
[325] and other websites
since
February, 2005.
