Adam Godley (born 22 July 1964) is an English actor.

Biography

Adam Godley has appeared in numerous movies including Love Actually, Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The X-Files: I Want to Believe, Nanny McPhee, Son of Rambow, Thunderpants, Around the World in 80 Days and the upcoming Salomaybe.

On stage he has received three Olivier Award nominations, most recently for the role of Charlie Babbitt in the West End production of Rain Man. He was also nominated for Mouth to Mouth at The Royal Court Theatre, and as Kenneth Williams in Terry Johnson's Cleo, Camping, Emmanuelle and Dick at the National Theatre. Other London stage work includes Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman, Paul, Cabaret, Mr Kolpert, The Rivals, June Moon, The Importance of Being Earnest and, on Broadway, Private Lives, for which he won a Theatre World Award.

TV movies include Cor, Blimey!, The Old Curiosity Shop, In the Dark, The Young Visiters and Hawking. Other TV work includes Breaking Bad, Nuremburg, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Sword of Honour, Mad Men, Doll House and the HBO film The Special Relationship.
