Adam Ray is a British actor now resident in
Australia.
In the UK he was best known for playing gay art
teacher Tom Brisley in the long-running school
drama series Grange
Hill between 1992 and 1999.
He moved with his wife and
family to Australia in 1998, having completed just a couple of
episodes of the latest series of Grange Hill, and there he
continues to act. He was seen as a record store manager in an
episode of Home
And Away when teenager Gypsy Nash was caught shoplifting.
He
also appeared in the CBBC drama See How They Run in 2000, a
co-production between the BBC and an Australian broadcaster.
