Adam Gene Ropp, born Adam Gene VonKrupp (April 12, 1984 is a model, actor, sound editor, screenwriter, director, producer, and film editor of independent movies. He is known for making short films screened on the film festival circuit, with small budgets yet with high production values. He is a leading example in his region with the conceptual Robert Rodriguez, mariachi style of filmmaking. He is known also for his clashes with Hollywood style productions. He is known more widely as an American Teen Idol contestant.

Films


Ropp has directed, produced, or filmed about a dozen short independent movies, many of them quirky horror/slash films and black comedies.

His short Green Demise was screened at the Dead Center Film Festival, and received a rating of 3 out of 5 stars.<ref> Dead Center web site</ref>
