Addicted to Beauty is an American reality television show on the Oxygen US television channel about a Plastic surgery and Day spa located in San Diego, California. The final episode of the first season aired on September 22, 2009. Although the show featured the practice being located in the heart of downtown La Jolla, it is actually located in the Carmel Valley community of North County San Diego. The show focuses on the relationships between the staff at the practice and the new business partnership formed by Dr. Lee and Dianne York-Goldman.

Dianne York-Goldman[1] -- Recently divorced after an 11 year marriage, Dianne ran a plastic surgery business of her own with her husband for 7 years.[2] In the show, Dianne entered into a business agreement with Dr. Lee to launch her own day spa with Dr. Lee's practice. Here she is in charge of marketing and promotions. In addition, Dianne also started the DYG Mineral Makeup product line to promote sales at the practice.
Gilbert W. Lee, MD, F.A.C.S. -- A San Diego resident and founder of the Changes Plastic Surgery & Day Spa which opened in 1994.[3] Dr. Lee received his degree at the University of California San Diego and is one of Southern California's premier physicians. He was voted “Top Doctor in Plastic Surgery” by his Plastic Surgery Colleagues in the San Diego County Medical Society for the past three consecutive years (2007, 2008, 2009). He is the primary surgeon at the practice.
Gary Erwin -- Born July 4, 1984 in San Diego, California. He has worked in the beauty industry for seven years and is a Make-Up Artist/Medical Receptionist. In addition, Oxygen.com created Addicted to Gary, a web series featuring outtakes from the original filming with Gary as the narrator.[4] In August 2009, Gary moved to San Francisco, CA with his boyfriend Scott, and is working for a well-known Dermatologist in the city.[citation needed]
Melanie "Mel" Bivins -- Originally from Fort Lauderdale, FL, Mel is the office manager of the practice and is in charge of the business finances and scheduling.
Natasha Porlas -- Natasha has been working in the beauty industry since 2004.[5] She was born and raised in San Diego and is also the face for Dr. Lee's skin care line of specialty products.[6] Natasha is Diane's Executive Assistant and is also the event coordinator. The show highlights the confrontations between her and Dianne.
Ronnie Morgan -- From Johnstown, OH, Ronnie has been working in the beauty industry since he was 18.[7] He is the Account Executive for DYG Mineral Makeup and is the concierge at the practice.
Shannyn Pareo -- Shannyn is from Bosque Farms, NM, and has been in the beauty industry since 1999. She is the Spa's Marketing Director and Supervisor. She oversees all operations of the Spa under Dianne.
