Addys D'Mercedes is one of the fastest rising Latin American superstars to hit the world music business in years. She made her UK debut in 2001 at the Guildford Festival and since then has undertaken two short British tours with every date selling out within hours. This young, talented and beautiful singer recorded her debut album with invited musicians from the Afro Cuban Allstars, the recording 'Mundo Nuevo' immediately shot her to national and now international fame.

Her music includes a wide range of traditional Cuban and South American musical styles combined with some furious up-tempo Latin grooves plus a sprinkle of western soul and funk. Addys is already a mega superstar in her native Cuba.
