Adeem (pronounced ADM) is an American underground
rapper from
Keene, New Hampshire and currently a
member of the hip-hop group
Glue with DJDQ
[175] and
Maker. He started
rapping in 1997 as a way to escape from the confines of his small
town. His first serious foray into hip-hop came with a group called
The Dorian Three, which also included DJ Shalem and Adverse. He
went on to work on solo projects such as the 2002 release "Sweet
Talking Your Brain", before again joining forces with The Dorian
Three for their 2003 release "Down World, Up Songs". All the while,
Glue was being formed and the work on their first album got
underway. Glue has been busy since its inception, releasing albums
in both 2004 and 2005, while touring to promote them in between
recording sessions. In 2005, they completed the Scribble Jam tour
with
Mr. Dibbs and
Blueprint, and the
Vans Warped Tour.
2006 brings new frontiers for the group, with the release of its
newest album "Catch as Catch Can" with the well-known indie label
Fat
Beats Records.
Adeem has also contributed his musical
talents to the group 1200 Hobos with
Mr. Dibbs (the touring DJ for
Atmosphere ). In addition to his
recording pursuits, he is an accomplished battle rapper, and the
only two-time winner (1998 and 2001) of
Scribble Jam.
