Admiral Nagala is the Chief of Staff in the
Battlestar
Galactica universe. Admiral Nagala is brought up in the
first two hour season premiere. It was said that Admiral Nagala
took command of the Battlestar Atlantia, when Picon Fleet
Headquarters and the planet Picon were destroyed by Cylon forces.
Admiral
Nagala was killed in action during a battle above Virgon, defending
the twelve colonies from the Cylon attack.
In the 2005
novelization of the mini-series, it is stated that Lee Adama served aboard the
Battlestar Atlantia, but this might not be true because
the novelization is not considered canon.
