The film was launched on April 23, 2008 at the Film Nagar Cultural Center in Hyderabad, India[1]. In April 2009 while campaigning for the Indian general election in Andhra Pradesh, Jr. NTR got into a car accident, severely injuring his back[2], thus delaying the film. It is a good movie with suitable comedy, action, romance.etc
There was a controversy created by KCR daughter Kavitha, that she won't allow the film to release in Telangana region because the film producers are from the Andhra region who supported Samiakhyandra movement. Later, this move by Kavitha was criticized by all political parties, and she recanted her statement. The film screened without any issues.
