History
Adventure Valley opened for business
in September of 2006. The facility was originally constructed as a
Jewish Community Center in 1965. The
Sports Clubs of Canada (The Valleywood)<ref>

Venues</ref> purchased the Jewish Community Center in the
1990s,<ref>
Thornhill-Markham Neighborhood
Profile</ref> and has since been sold to Adventure
Valley. It is located just north of Leslie & Steeles on 20
acres of forested land with the
Don River running through the
property.
Services
Programs for Children
Adventure Valley Day Camp operates during July and August
providing a
summer
camp for children of the
Greater Toronto Area. Additional
programs include Karate though
Northern Karate Schools and a
Tennis partnership with
Toronto
Tennis City.
Community and Charitable Initiatives
Recently becoming not-for-profit,<ref>
Call of the
Wild</ref> Adventure Valley Nature Centre offers outdoor
education for local schools. They are also very involved with a
variety of charitable organizations such as b.r.a.i.n.
child<ref>
b.r.a.i.n.source</ref> and Camp
Trillium. Adventure Valley has been the host venue for a variety of
commuity and charitable events.

Adventure
Valley is owned and operated by the Fishman family.<ref>
