Africa is a MMORPG announced in February 2006 at which time the forums opened.
Details so far are minimal without even a hint of when the beta will start.
The chief game designer on the project is Tracy Spaight.
It is being developed in partnership between Rapid Reality, LLC and Africast Global Media Inc.
The main gameplay will be focused in the western part of North Africa in the middle ages circa 1300 AD.
Player characters will be able to choose from a variety of character classes including warrior, farmer, merchant and crafter.
The Game
The website has been closed for a long period of time now.
No information is being released about the game, so it is assumed but not confirmed that the game is cancelled.
