After Eight is the debut short film of James Hughes. Filmed on location in Leicester, England, the cast from Betty Limpany were used to bring the award winning short film script to life.

It was screened at the Paris Film Festival in 1998.

Plot


When Albert invites his girlfriend's family to dinner in order to patch things up with her, he gets more than he bargained for. Heavily influenced by the work of Woody Allen the film was shot entirely in black and white.
