Aftermath Management and Productions (AMP) is an Entertainment business from Ashley, Pennsylvania in the United States.
AMP offered band management, concert promotions, and record production services which were added later.
Originally formed in 1991, the business was started by Charles Ford and Jasen ‘Jake’ Mitchneck.
Charles went to Hanover Area Jr/Sr High School and was friends with Eric Armusik and Ken Ebersole.
Eric formed Ossuary 1990, he played guitar/vocals, and shortly after that Ken joined the band, offering his vocals as front man.
Jake went to G.A.R.
Memorial Jr/Sr High School. Ossuary was the first death metal band of its kind in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton PA. and surrounding areas.
Charles managed the band for a short while, securing shows and venues for them.
Charles was also with them during their first demo, which was later re-recorded and then released.
Charles left Ossuary’s’ side and formed Aftermath with Jake in 1991 officially.
After a couple months Bruce Fairchild was brought on staff.
AMP had a brief, but successful history in the Wilkes-Barre Area.
With Charles and Jake both leaving the area AMP was technically out of business.
Charles, Jake, and Bruce never kept in touch after that, and Concerts seemed to be the last thing on any ones minds.
Charles continued AMP in the Harrisburg Area till late 1999 having moderate success.
Aftermath has been a parent company for several different businesses:
TCIS – Tarrant County Inventory Services early 2000 to late 2001.
Aftermath Products late 2002 to present.
AMP re-appeared in 2004.
AMP is now located in Pleasantville, PA.
And is working with bands and comedy performers in Northwestern PA.
