Agawam, Oklahoma is located in southern Grady county approximately 7 miles south of Ninnekah,OKlahoma and 7 miles north of Rush Springs,Oklahoma. Agawam is now a ghost town as the original store and boarding house along with the railroad station was lost due to a tornado years ago. Most people now refer to it as Merrittville as most of the individuals living in the actual townsite of Agawam are the Merritt's.
Agawam is a city (known as a town) in the Pioneer Valley region of Massachusetts. It includes the village of Feeding Hills.
By car
U.S. Route 5 runs along the eastern border of Agawam along the Connecticut River. It connects to Suffield, Connecticut in the south and West Springfield in the north. State Route 57 is the major east/west route through the city.
