Agawam, Oklahoma is located in southern Grady county approximately 7 miles south of Ninnekah,OKlahoma and 7 miles north of Rush Springs,Oklahoma. Agawam is now a ghost town as the original store and boarding house along with the railroad station was lost due to a tornado years ago. Most people now refer to it as Merrittville as most of the individuals living in the actual townsite of Agawam are the Merritt's.

U.S. Route 5 runs along the eastern border of Agawam along the Connecticut River. It connects to Suffield, Connecticut in the south and West Springfield in the north. State Route 57 is the major east/west route through the city.

Robinson State Park, North Street, (413) 786-2877, [2]. State Park located on the Westfield River. Picnicking, mountain biking, hiking, walking, swimming.

• The 911. The 911 is a tiny little "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant on the corner of North West Street and North Westfield Street. Despite its small size and out-of-the-way location, The 911 has the best burgers and hot dogs in all of Agawam, possibly in the entire Pioneer Valley.
