Age of
Mythology Heaven (abbreviated AoMH) is a
fansite for the
Age of Mythology and
Age of Mythology: The Titans
video games. It
was opened in 2001 <ref>
The first news
entry stating the release date in the header</ref> by
Thunder. Since then there have been over 45000 threads and 70000
posts. The website has created a community of people dedicated to
playing and/or designing
scenarios and
random maps for the game along with many
other features. Members are also allowed to discuss tactics and
stories from the game.
It is a major resource and community
centre for players of Age of Mythology. It can be argued that along
with AgeSanctuary and AgeCommunity, this is the central place where
any slightly serious player, or just someone needing help with the
game, would gather.
Age of Mythology Heaven has had many events
and competitions like the Pritty Town Contest for example where
members of the community may create a town, village or city within
the Age of Mythology game, containing
eyecandy and a method of accessing all parts of the
city.
