Ahmad Naadir "Slim" Nivins (born February 10, 1987 in Jersey City, New Jersey) is a power forward drafted by the Dallas Mavericks with the 56th overall pick of the 2009 draft. He was quickly released and is now playing in Europe for Bàsquet Manresa in the Spanish league ACB. He previously played for the Saint Joseph's Hawks men's basketball team. He is the school's leader in career field goal percentage (63.4). He is also one of 26 Hawks to record 1,000 points and 500 rebounds in his career. Nivins is fifth on SJU's all-time list with 110 blocks. He never won a NCAA Tournament game.[1]

College Chalk Talk listed him as the second best returning player in the Atlantic 10 for the 2008-09 season.[2]. Jeff Goodman of FoxSports ranked Nivins as the number one player who needs to "come back" for his team to succeed. Said Goodman, "It’s not as if he was bad or anything, but the talented big man will have to dominate this season".

Nivins was the 2009 Atlantic-10 Player of the Year and 2009 Big 5 Player of the Year.
