Sayyed Ahmad al-Hasan al-Khatib (Arabic: سيد أحمد الحسن الخطيب‎) (born 1933) is a Syria politician. He was a ceremonial head of state of Syria (November 18, 1970 - February 22, 1971) appointed by Hafez al-Assad to replace the ousted president Nureddin al-Atassi. al-Khatib was a civilian member of the ruling Baath party and served as president for only four months. His position was subsequently filled by Assad.
