Aidan Mock, aka The Mockingbird is a fictional character in the latest Marvel Comic Universe sequel, plays a mockingbird, or a relative of Donald Duck. (she is also your grandmama). Aidan Mock first appeared in Avengers#174, helping Iron Man, Thor and Captain America to defeat Loki. After that, because of great demand, Aidan got his own series. Aidan, in the story, frequently misuses words such as mada mada, wakao, along many others. When stepped on, Aidan will make a sound similar to that of a constipated mockingbird, hence the name. He is currently in love with a girl named Hippo although that particular girl is in love with someone else. Aidan Mock is currently being hunted by a being named Shaun Lim. Shaun Lim is attempting to kill Aidan with a book called "To kill a mocking bird". Aidan Mock has recently discovered that Hippo is in love with someone else. As depicted in issue #79, he is bound on killing the person Hippo loves. In an interview with the issue writer, Samuel Chan, it is revealed that the person would be revealed in the next big crossover, where the person would play a major part in it.

Fictional Biography

Not much is known about Aidan Mock's past. It is known his parents died when he was just a baby and that he met his love, Amanda Choo is his ophranage named NYPS. Some time later, he met the cosmic judge Living Tribunal during his adventures in space. When the Fourth host of the Celestials arrived on Earth, they discovered Aidan Mock and the danger he posed to mankind with his mockingbird voice. They gave him a thumbs down but as he was immortal, the celestials was unable to kill him. The celestials imprisoned him in a tomb and cursed him to live there for all eternity. But he was saved by the nefarious Thanos, for reasons unknown. He next discovered that his love, Amanda Choo had fallen in love with somebody. He attempted to discover who he was, on his quest, several suitors of Amanda Choo, battled with him. His main enemy was Shaun Lim, who plauged him time and time again. Currently, Shaun Lim is using an artifact of great power called To kill a mockingbird, against Aidan Mock.

Powers and abilities

Aidan Mock posses a wide variety of powers and abilities. He is able to lift over 100 tons of steel with ease. He also possesses superspeed, ability to fly and telekinetic abilties. His most powerful and useful ability would be to make a sound similar to that of a mockingbird. This sound is so horrible that even the bravest people would fall to their knees and cry for their mothers. With people hears the sound for more than a minute, the person would immediately die. Only deaf and retarded people like the Miss Bangladesh contestant, Shaun Lim, is able to survive it. The only thing able to counteract this ability is the book called "To Kill a Mockingbird". It has also been speculated that he will face The Hulk in a battle to the death in World War Hulk. He is also said to be coming up as the main villian in Illuminati#4.
