AirTran U<br /> AirTran U ([1809]) is a program affiliated with
AirTran Airways for college-age travelers. Anyone between the ages
of 18 and 22 can buy standby flights for $69 or $89 per segment,
depending on the length of the trip. Formerly, the AirTran U
program operated under the name
X-Fares.
Promotion<br /> Currently, a
promotion involving AirTran U's mascot, The AirTran Ewe, is
underway at YouTube.com/airtranu [1810]. The person that submits the best
AirTran U cheer video, while donning a mask of the Ewe, will be
given four flights to any of their destinations. The promotion ends
on May 12, 2007.
