Ajai R.
Singh, M.D., is an
Indian psychiatrist and editor of the
Mens Sana Monographs, 'a monograph series devoted to the understanding of medicine, mental health, man and their matrix'.
It is published by the
Mens Sana Research Foundation based in
Mumbai,
India.
He did his
M.B.B.S. and later
M.D. in Psychological Medicine from the
Mumbai University, India.
He has earlier worked with the
World Health Organization's Collaborating Center in
Psychopharmacology in India as a Senior Research Fellow doing research in
thanatology (the process of death and dying).
He has also published a number of research papers in psychiatry, philosophy, as also monographs on topics in psychiatry, science, religion, medicine and health related issues.
He is a member of the
World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and a practising psychiatrist based in Mumbai, India.
He is Vice-President, Indian Association of Private Psychiatry, Maharastra State Branch.
He is also Chairman, Mental Health Awareness,
Indian Psychiatric Society, West Zone.
He is also the Founder President of a musical organisation called
Swara Sampada, whose mission statement is 'To convert bathroom singers into living room singers, and living room singers into stage singers'.
