ajaxWrite is an Ajax based web word processor similar to Writely.
It loads in a matter of seconds and works only with Firefox 1.5 or newer.
Because of its use of XUL, it boasts the speed of a native application while still running off the internet.
For the same reason, however, it currently relies on a Mozilla-compatible browser to run.
It currently supports opening and saving as Microsoft Word documents, OpenDocument documents, RTF documents, PDF documents, and plain text documents.
It can only save files to a local machine.
