Ajay Pillai is a 15-year-old boy from East Ham, which is in the
London Borough of Newham in east London, England.
Ajay was born
in Barking (now Upney) Hospital, Barking on 01/04/1991. He has been
brought up all his life living on Lawrence Road, East Ham. His
neighbourhood is easily accessible from Katherine Road, which can
be navigated by the 325 bus route should anyone wish to visit him.
Nearby attractions include High Street North, West Ham F.C. and
himself.
Ajay was educated in Hartley Primary School, East Ham.
His potential to be a future genius was easy to see, especially
when he was awarded a special award for his services to the school
upon leaving the school in 2002. Not only did he achieve some of
the highest SATS results ever seen in the school, with one level 6
in Science and and borderline level 6 in Maths, he also represented
the school in cricket, helping them to achieve a treble in their
first ever season, winning the Newham Hardball Cup, Newham Hardball
League and the Newham Windball League, defeating Avenue, Godwin and
Monega Primary Schools respectively. Ajay was named
man-of-the-match in the final of the Newham Cup for his outstanding
fielding display, including a direct run-out from 50 yards from his
position on the deep squaure leg boundary, and he also took the
most important wicket and another run-out in the final match of the
Newham League, in front of a crowd of 4 at the Langdon School
fields. His headmaster Paul McNeil called him "An outstanding
scientist and cricketer".
Now Ajay goes to St. Bonaventure's
Catholic Comprehensive School in Forest Gate, London. He achieved a
level 8 in Maths and level 7 in Science and English in his year 9
SATS, and has been predicted A* for all his GCSE subjects.
Ajay's hobbies include taekwondo (in which is a senior
red-tag), piano (which he was forced to do and would like to state
his dislike of the instrument), football (he supports Manchester
United but also gives his best wishes to West Ham United, Swansea
City and Leyton Orient) and doing other things.
He does not
enjoy revising, contrary to popular belief.
