Alana (Simon) is the featured female vocalist for the duo MK featuring Alana, which scored two #1 hits on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart with "Always" in 1993 and "Love Changes" in 1994. She scored another hit in 1995 with the single "Burning" which was recorded with Marc Kinchen as the duo. The song is featured on the House music compilation album titled, "My House Is Bigger Than Your House" produced by Danny Tenaglia. It was released on New York City based music label, Bold Records. Alana & MK have not recorded in recent years. Alana hails from Detroit, Michigan but now resides in the United Kingdom and performs under the name Alana Maria.
