Albert Alejandro Acevedo Vergara (born May 6, 1983 in Conchalí, Chile) is a Chilean footballer. Acevedo played as a defender for O'Higgins.


He all lower in Spanish Union, llengando a Catholic in 2002, team with which consolidates football getting the Opening Tournament. But it was not until the closing of the same year in which manages itself as owner. In 2003 he was a cornerstone for the then technical UC Oscar Meneses, who used it in different positions, invoking his characteristic hard. After that and until 2006 its shares were not very fortunate, because of countless injuries. This year immigrated to loan to Cobreloa, which was consolidated as the holder to return in 2007 to Catholic again where he earned a place on the team with Fernando Carvallo.

International career

At youth, participated in the South American U-20 Championship 2003 by Chile, where he was owner in the first phase of four games, notching just one win and three defeats, being eliminated early. It also had stakes in selecting sub-23.
