Rhythm Guitarist for LA Guns. Alec Bauer (aka Big Al) was born in Newport Beach in 1989 and grew up in Huntington Beach. He attended Huntington Beach High School and participated in the Academy for the Performing Arts program (APA) and majored in the Commercial Recording Arts Department (CRAD). The teacher in charge of CRAD is Jamie Knight of sparkle*jets UK After performing snipets of the cover songs performed by Camp Freddy over the phone on the Camp Freddy Radio Show, Dave Navarro and Billy Morrison gave Camp Teddy their first gig. Alec was 15 years old. They performed at The Key Club on the Sunset Strip, playing one song before Camp Freddy performed. Billy Morrison and Dave Navarro, while hosting Camp Freddy Radio (CFR) on Indie 103.1, were responsible for naming Alec's band Camp Teddy, which consisted of Alec (Guitars and Vocals) Wade Turner (Guitars and vocals), Ira George (Bass), and Luke Armstrong (Drums). Alec Bauer has performed in Huntington Beach High School's Retrofest, with CRAD at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, The Galaxy in Orange County. He has been the Roadie and Driver for L.A. Guns since June 2007.
