Alexander Bird ( born in England, 1964) is a philosopher and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Bristol. He specialises in the metaphysics of science, in addition to his work focused around epistemology and on the philosophy of Thomas Kuhn. His publications include "Philosophy of Science" (Routledge, 1998) and "Thomas Kuhn" (Acumen, 2000, Spanish edition: Tecnos, Madrid, 2003).
