A young British newcomer with a fresh oriential look, Alexander Fung, has appeared in numerous productions, music videos, magazines, and award winning short / feature films.
Starring in the slacker teen comedy Astronauts and Babies, it received Best Independent Film in the press and has been compared to the likes of indie pop icon Kevin Smith (Mallrats, Clerks), Bill & Ted (Alex Winter, Keanu Reeves) and John Hughes (Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink).
Recognized as an Up & Coming Performer by Chinatown Magazine and Multi-Talented in a feature by Venue Magazine. Alex is making a promising start.
He was heavily involved in London's indie film / theatre community, collaborating with many creative filmmakers and all the while studying Fine Art at London Guildhall University.

As well as his strong theatre background, he has had a long standing history in the underground punk scene. No doubt, contributing to his flair for playing rebellious misfits.
He has toured extensively around the UK and Europe as lead guitarist in a rock band signed to Nation Records. Some of his earlier work was dubbed Placebo meets Smashing Pumpkins in the Daily Telegraph and featured regularly in some of the biggest selling alternative music mags, such as Rock Sound and Kerrang, which enthusiastically reviewed his bands first releases, topping Single Of The Week. They also had frequent play on Steve Lamacqs BBC radio 1 Evening Session.

Early in the summer of 2001 he began rehearsals for the controversial production Lolita. Directed by Victor Raskin with the British Russian Theatre Company, the show was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Alex became in reasonable demand as a model after being plucked from his bands photoshoot to sit for Chris Rydlewski, who has also done portraits of DJ Roni Size.
Possessing a natural, yet almost otherworldly anime/manga like quality, Alexander caught the eye of many artistic photographers and has been the subject for their portfolios and exhibitions.
He was approached to feature in a hair styling competition along with other models to represent England for Wella and became poster boy for Reflections Hair Salon throughout 2003.

With a strong desire to focus more on acting, his last live music performance was at Glastonbury Festival in 2002. Alex still enjoys experimenting in the studio. His current compositions are much more orchestral based.
His lead debut on film saw him starring alongside MTV presenter Izzie Knolles as her boyfriend in the short horror film Dead Wood which has developed quite the cult following. It still continues to win numerous prizes in the world of digital film making.
Then he was shipped off to Cornwall to play one of the soldiers in the action blockbuster JAMES BOND Die Another Day, directed by Lee Tamahori. On Location, he indulged in one of his favourite past times and went surfing on his days off. Growing up in the west country near the coast, his favourite spots to surf are Saint Ives and Wollacombe Bay.

Alex's passion for the dramatic arts started at the tender age of 13 when he developed a curiosity for acting at the Westbury Park School of Dance and Drama. From this extra curricular activity, Alex achieved a LAMDA grade 4 distinction in 1994.
For six months, every weekend after school, Alex made the journey to London studying Speech and Drama at the famous Sylvia Young Theatre School.
He auditioned for a place at the Bristol Old Vic Youth Theatre where he gained a place in 1997. This led to regular performances at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic for the next 4 years, in productions such as Spring Awakening, Our Countries Good and The Bishops to Blame.
After graduating from Guildhall University and a successful premiere of his film later, Alex took a breather from the hustle and bustle of London to relax with friends and family back in Bristol, but with a few projects already in consideration, Alex has returned to the big city.
