Alexandre Dalsdonon: a brief history written as of the destruction
of mankind.
Alexandre Dalsdonon, born in Christchurch, New
Zealand was the most influential person in the history of the homo
sapien sapiens and their transformations (be they genetic,
cybernetic, transformation of the body into energy, copying the
life-form into a machine etc).
It all started in the early 21st
century. Alexandre Dalsdonon began creating a multi-national empire
of businesses, be they legal or otherwise. It started with
investments in old age homes and gradually moved onto property and
small businesses. Then he began creating medium sized businesses,
and eventually enormous corporations making terribly large profits.
By the age of fourty, he had a fortune of several trillion, hidden
away in several high-security banks across the globe. Through all
this, he managed to remain inconspicuous. In fact, to the eye of
the public, he never actually owned any of his companies, but never
the less he was always above the supposed owners and leaders,
pulling the strings as he wished. To any historian he was a nothing
- and normal member of the vast human population.
Meanwhile,
Alexandre Dalsdonon was developing a number of secret research
facility, located somewhere beneath the surface of Russia. There,
scientists with genius level IQs were delving into a number of
different topics. Topics such as antimatter and nuclear weapons.
Topics such as space travel and nanotechnology. Topics such as
genetic modification and robotics. All of these were researched,
but his main interest was in the science of longevity.
Dalsdonon
technology allowed him to extend his life, first, by fifty years or
so, by the use of a combination of genetics, nanobots, and
implants, but that was enough time for his scientists to harness
the power to extend his life even further. This process continued
until he was invincible to death by old age. By this time, the rest
of the human race had also begun to invest in longevity techniques,
but their technology was like a stick compared to a fully automatic
machine gun. Besides which, he only let them uncover the technology
he wanted them to have.
It was all part of the most enormous
plan ever to be conceived, a plan like a musical masterpiece
performed by the entire human race, with Alexandre Dalsdonon
conducting the whole thing. He made good use of his extended life
and colossal fortune. The entire world was saved from an early doom
because of the blackmail, and, in some cases, assassination of
several industrial giants. If this had not had been done, mankind
would have poisoned its environment and therefore itself, before it
had even spread its wings and colonised other worlds. In some ways,
man was lucky, for he only encountered weak species in his first
steps into space. On one occasion, he may have fallen had it not
had been for mysterious antimatter explosions, far ahead of
military capabilities, on enemy planets.
After the human race
had devoured the milky way of its resources and land, they turned
to other galaxies. There, they encountered strange new forces and
powers. A galaxy controlled by machines, waiting, slumbering until
something was foolish enough to be detected by their radar devices.
This something happened to be a fleet of colonisation ships sent
from the Milky Way. The machines awoke, and crushed the space
crafts. This set off a chain reaction – moving to the ships put
others in their line of sight. The soulless ones moved from world
to world, killing and destroying. It is now that the homo sapien
sapiens would certainly have been culled, had it not been for a
magnificent force - a wave of microscopic robots, perfectly crafted
for the enemy. They invaded the alien machines and stilled them
forever. Nobody knew where they came from
Just as people
continued to multiply and spread, so Alexandre Dalsdonon continued
to sculpt the history of the universe. Where there was hate, he
gave love; where there was despair, hope; where there was darkness,
light. Still, he remained a shadow, always carrying out his tasks
through
But there was a problem. Dalsdonon could not be
everywhere at once (unless, of course he either cloned himself or
copied himself into a machine, but he was morally against both of
these options). So he had an enormous research station built. It
was the sized of a small planet and was hidden by state of the art
invisibility and concealment technology, and if anybody did find
it, they would mysteriously turn back and would have no
recollection of anything about the place. Then he gathered up
people in the known universe with IQs in the top 1*10-20 percentile
and offered them unfathomable wealth to give up their identities,
homes, and loved ones, to live in his facility and work every
second on unlocking the power of controlling the warp of time and
space itself.
Even with all the mind enhancing technology in the
known universe, Dalsdonon waited several million years before he
saw any results, but the results were very good indeed. He now had
the means to create shortcuts, folds in space. He also had limited
access to the slowing, even stopping, of time. He was a god. In
this time, man had claims on more than half of the universe. He had
become an unstoppable force – a river of lava consuming everything
in its path.
It is hard being immortal. What do you do after you
have done everything that can be done? Alexandre had literally done
it all. Surfing lava. Sun diving. Bungee jumping at 100 gees. He
was getting bored. He had contemplated suicide innumerable times,
but he felt he had a duty to his species. So long had he held the
reigns, guiding his race away from danger. If he died, they would
surely go wild, corrupt, insane. So he devised a plan.
By now
his research had been completed. He was God. He created a machine
in the centre of the universe. Messages were sent to every
communication device in existence, explaining how he had molded
history. Then he activated the machine.
Infinite amounts of
antigravity were produced in an infinitely small space of time.
Then, in an undefined period of time after that, the reverse
happened.
This document has always existed, and will always
exist. The end has already happened. Nobody, not even I, can change
it.
Signed,
Alexandre Dalsdonon.
