Alexandrina van Donkelaar-Vink (Vlaardingerambacht, January 31, 1895 - Bunnik, May
19, 2006) was a
supercentenarian, the oldest person in the
Netherlands and,
at the time of her death aged 111, the thirty-fifth oldest verified
person in the world. Alexandrina Vink married Koos van Donkelaar in
1917. He died in 1951, resulting in her being a widow longer than a
married woman. Almost deaf and blind in her last years, she became
the doyenne of the Netherlands following the
death of the then official world's oldest person 115-year-old
Hendrikje van Andel-Schipper
(29 June, 1890 - 30 August, 2005).
