Alexis Jordan (born 1992) is an American R&B and pop singer, currently signed to Star Roc/Roc Nation.[1]
Alexis Jordan began her career in 2006 with a apperance on NBC's America's Got Talent, where her performance of Whitney Houston's hit single, "I Have Nothing", recieved a standing ovation and praise from judge Brandy Norwood. Shortly after, she began posting videos on YouTube of her singing both original and cover songs, which became popular.[2]
In 2009, Jordan signed a recording contract with Star Roc/Roc Nation, and is currently working on her yet-to-be titled debut album, which currently has no release date set.
