Alice Marian Washburg was born on July 21, 1895 in Towerville, New York to Elmer John Washburg and Nellie Anderson. In 1900 and 1910, she lived with her parents and sister in Ellery, New York.
Alice married Merle Allen Harrington, son of William Daniel Harrington and Emma Gertrude Wheeler, on July 25, 1914 at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Sinclairville, New York. In 1920, Merle, Alice, and two daughters were living on Newland Avenue in Jamestown, New York. Merle worked as a ? at the Merring? Company. Merle, Alice, and their four children moved to Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio sometime between 1923 and 1930 as their fourth daughter was born about 1923 in New York and they are living on 2138 West 61st Street in Cleveland, Ohio in the 1930 census. Merle worked as a truck driver for a Coal Company. Sometime in the early 1930s, the family returned to Chautauqua County. They lived in Jamestown, New York.
Alice died on January 6, 1991 in Jamestown, New York.
