Alicia Jean Malaby (Born on August 27, 1961 (Age
46) in Norman, Oklahoma) is a Anchor/ Reporter for
KXTV News10 in Sacramento. She currently
anchors only on Saturday's solo for the 6 and 11pm newscast and is
a General Assingment Reporter Monday-Wednesday.
Alicia joined
News10 in November 1999 as a Reporter and Fill-Anchor. She later
became the News10 Good Morning Anchor Along with
Dan Elliott in 2001. Later in
Spring 2002 Alicia had changed positions with weekend anchor
Sharon Ito and
together they switch spots. Alicia anchored the weekend newscast
solo at 5pm (Except on Saturday) , 6pm and 11pm. Later in Mid-2003
Dana Howard joined the weekend team and has now anchored with her
ever since Mid-2007.
Before joining News10 in late '99. She
previously worked for
KCRA-TV an NBC affiliate in Sacramento from
1989-1999. She also co-anchored the weekend editions in the early
90s with Kelly Brothers. And before coming to Northern California
she worked in Oklahoma City at
KWTV as a General Assignment News Reporter from
1983-1989. Alicia graduated from the
University
of Oklahoma in 1983 with a degree in Journalism.
Alicia
currently lives in the
Gold River area near Rancho Cordova east of
Sacramento County with her husband and two
childern.
