Alicia Rachelle Thompson is a former WNBA basketball player for the Seattle Storm. She was raised in Big Lake, Texas and attended high school at Reagan County High School where she excelled in basketball, shot put and discus throw. In college, she played at Texas Tech, scoring a total of 2,156 points which is second on the school's all time scoring list behind Carolyn Thompson.[1] During her freshman year, she was also part of the Texas Tech track team in shot put and discus throw. During her six year career, she also played for the Indiana Fever and the New York Liberty.
Thompson was inducted into the Texas Tech Athletics Hall of Fame on November 1, 2008.[2][3]
