Alisa Cooper (born June 5, 1952) is an American Democratic Party politician. She lives in Linwood, New Jersey. She is the Freeholder At Large for Atlantic County, New Jersey. She is also President of Alisa Cooper Orchestras and she teaches in the Egg Harbor Township School District. She is also the daughter of the late Assemblywoman Dolores Cooper. While in office, Alisa has served as chairman of the land development and standards committee for Atlantic County, as well as served as a member of various other committees. She was re-elected to office in 2008. She is also a Commissioner for the New Jersey State Council on The Arts.

Alisa Cooper is an American Democratic Party politician from New Jersey,who was elected Freeholder-at-Large in November 2005 representing all of Atlantic County.

Cooper was born and raised in Atlantic City. She is a graduate of Atlantic City High School and the University of Maryland from which she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education. Cooper is the owner of "Alisa Cooper Orchestras", a music and entertainment agency. Alisa is also a music educator in the Egg Harbor Township Schools. She is a member of the N.J.E.A.; Atlantic City Musicians Association #661-708; and many other civic, professional and religious organizations. She belongs to Congregation Beth Israel,a Jewish synagogue in Northfield, New Jersey. Throughout her career as an entertainer and educator, she has been the recipient of numerous awards for her charitable activities as she has generously volunteered her time, energy and her talents for many causes and organizations throughout South Jersey. She is a member of the Tourism Advisory and Workforce Investment Boards. She also serves on the following committees: County Code Review, Human Services, Intergovernmental, Land Development Standards,and Public Health and Environmental Committee. During her time as a Freeholder, Cooper has raised many controversial issues regarding the ethics and practices of the county government. She resides in Linwood, New Jersey. She is currently considering entering the race in 2008 for New Jersey's 2nd Congressional District in New Jersey.
