Akhamael :(Arabic الخمائل ) Is a tourist resort in Syria away from Mashta Al Helou 8 km and is located on the territory of the Jawikhat village witch is followed of Homs. and clan of al-Battar village witch is followed of Tartus and rise above sea about 950 meters high and cascades because of its mountainous landscape, and called Akhamael for this reason. Mr. Faek Zaki Razzouk build it in 1978. and he has been able to transform the region to very nice place.
Geographical location : located on the magical plateau green and away from the Syrian capital, Damascus about 213 km and of Tartus, about 63 km from Homs about 53 km,from Hama about 50 km.
Climate and Weather : cool climate region in summer and extremely cold winter.
Population and area : In addition to the hotel restaurant and the number of homes in 1985 about 60 separate house with an area of about 20 hectares out of 400 hectares. Akhamael Resort is one of the most important areas frequented by the Syrian Arab tourists and foreigners from everywhere to enjoy nature and charming atmosphere pure and moderate, and also for the completion of the elements of the tourism and hotel and restaurant freshwater and all public utilities.
The source of water in the resort of groundwater and the water is fresh and tests proved that high purity and a high degree of health also.
