The All Free Dictionaries project is a project which aims to create a large collection of freely available dictionaries for many world languages. More than one hundred bilingual dictionaires are available. Users are able to use and to edit the dictionaries. Newest feature of the project is the Universal dictionary system which is based on definitions of the WordNet lexical database. All languages in the Universal dictionary system are interconnected. Universal dictionary already contains more than 50 world languages. The system allows users to use any dictionary that is a combination of two or three languages which are in the system. The project was launched in December 2004.
