Allen's short autobiography:
<blockquote> "My Name is Allen Jaeger.I was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and lived there from Feb.24, 1973 to present.I am a Professional artist who deals with the silkscreen media to produce a vision of what I hear and relate to.I do many posters and tour t-shirt designs for many bands and events, there are to many to mention...All my work is produced by myself, no sending it to a printer to have it screwed up.I mix my own colors using a wide range of paint types, oils, latex and screen textiles.Most printers have said that I print my work wrong and use odd methods.Well guess what, who cares, I taught myself through trail and error and have produced a different way that works for me.Where my teachers and others had no faith in my work, I did it and will keep doing it [until] I am one of the ones I illustrate.<br><br>
My inspriation ranges from all sources, the music I listen to, comic books, movies and everyday life.The artist I like most of all are Berni Wrightson, Frank Frazetta, Ken Kelly to name a few.The Artist of old 60's and 70's horror/sci-fi movie posters and early horror magazines like Eerie and Creepy.I collect Horror movies and related items, I have a huge collection of stuff like that.I only like doing posters for bands I like.I believe in full support to the artist and representing them as a fan would like myself.If my work can help an artist I like then all the power to [them]..I also do not consider myself part of this poster pop culture click, [that] has become something I hate...I am just a fan of what I like and that is it.We as a whole are not better than the other.If it were up to me, I would have the whole human race including myself extinct from the universe.Maybe that way the universe and all the other species that exist can live in harmony. Of all I have seen and witnessed, I am convinced this world is nothing but scum and dirt.
My work is much more important than the physical person, myself and others.
