Allen Payne (born July 7, 1968) is an American film and television actor.

Payne's first exposure on television was in 1990 on the sitcom The Cosby Show. During two seasons, he made several appearances portraying the character Lance Rodman. He also appeared as Marcus Stokes in an episode during season two of The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air. He made a guest appearance on Malcolm & Eddie as Prince.[citation needed]
Payne has appeared in many films, including like in a role with Jada Pinkett Smith New Jack City,Jason's Lyric and Double Platinum. He has also studied dance. In 2007, he stars in Tyler Perry's House of Payne. He plays C.J. Payne. He had to take care of his two children, daughter Jazmine Payne (China Anne McClain) and son Malik Payne (Larramie "Doc" Shaw), at his aunt and uncle's house after his drug addicted ex-wife, Janine Payne (Demetria McKinney) burns down their house. After his ex-wife finishes her second attempt at rehab, she returns and Ella Payne convinces the family to let her move back in. While Janine and C.J. are still divorced, she becomes pregnant with twins, Jayden and Hayden. The couple then get remarried. He also appeared in a Stacy Lattisaw video I'm Not The Same Girl.[citation needed]
